Police Quest Series
The Police Quest Series is a series of 3-D animted Adventure games by Sierra On-Line. The games in the series were designed to be more realistic than other Sierra adventure games and often have the player following real life police procedures. The first three games in the series were designed by Jim Walls, a retired highway patrol officer, and follow officer Sonny Bonds in the fictional city of Lytton, California. For the fourth game former LAPD Chief Daryl F. Gates took Jim Walls place and a new protagonist, homicide detective John Carey of the Los Angeles Police Department, is introduced. Following Police Quest 4 Sierra used the SWAT brand name for their police inspired games.
