The TI Extended BASIC module is a cartridge for the TI-99/4(A) which is an enhanced version of TI BASIC,
the implementation of the BASIC programming language that is built in to the system. Enhancements include the
ability to utilize the system's sprites, access to memory expansion that may be installed,
the ability to CALL subprograms, assembly language linkage, the ability to use the
TI Speech Synthesizer (if installed),
enhanced boolean logic and new or enhanced commands. Some games and programs that are
written in BASIC utilize features found only with the Extended BASIC module and require it to run.
