Space Quest III Soundtrack - Amiga, Atari ST, and Macintosh versions

The Macintosh version of Space Quest III included two drivers for using the built-in sound hardware. The first combined four voices together to allow for multiple instruments or sounds to play at once; the second version played only a single sound at a time. The single voice version was intended for the Mac Plus, SE, Classic, or other Macs with a slower CPU in order to improve performance on these machines. The Amiga, Atari ST, and Macintosh versions all also optionally supported the Roland MT-32 sound module to provide higher quality sound and allow players to hear the game as it was originally composed for the PC version. Scroll to the IBM PC Soundtrack section below to hear the Roland MT-32 version (and also other PC sound cards).
