The Olivetti M24 was introduced in 1983 and was later licensed and rebranded as the AT&T PC 6300 and Xerox 6060 by AT&T and Xerox respectively in 1984. These systems were the first entry into the PC computer market for these companies and were designed to compete against the IBM PC. They featured PC compatibility and also used a faster CPU's (an 8086 at 8 or 10 MHz).

All of the variations came with a proprietary CGA video card with the system. The card was partially CGA compatible as long as games used bios to control the graphics. In addition to the standard RGB video modes of CGA, it also included an additional hi-resolution 640x400 monocrhome graphics mode which was utilized by a few games.
