The Casio CZ-101 is a keyboard released by Casio in 1984. The first in Casio's CZ line of keyboards and synthesizers, the CZ-101 uses phase distortion synthesis which gives it a sound comparable to Yamaha's DX synthesizers. Some Atari ST games supported the keyboard when connected to the Atari ST's MIDI interface as an alternative to the more limited built in sound capabilities of the Atari ST.
