Released in 1992, the Amiga Advanced Graphics Architecture is Amiga's third generation graphics chipset found in the Amiga CD32, Amiga 1200, and Amiga 4000 and is the successor to OCS/ECS. AGA features a total color palette of 16,777,216 colors with up to 256 colors at once in indexed display modes or up to 262,144 colors in the Hold-and-Modify (HAM) mode.
